More than half of the states in our county currently have laws broadly legalizing marijuana in some form. Given the growing public acceptance of medical or recreational marijuana, employers should be aware of a variety of new workplace issues that could arise. Above all, employers and their legal counsel will need to draft an appropriate marijuana drug policy for their businesses.
